Speed enthusiasts are well aware of the reputation of the Mustang Shelby, the most fierce Street Legal in history. To celebrate Shelby America’s 60th anniversary, Ford has introduced this year’s special edition Mustang Shelby GT500KR in the United States. This limited-edition Mustang is based on the first Mustang to hold the title of King of the Road (KR) in 1968, the Ford Mustang. GT500.
This model features several enhancements over the standard Mustang vehicle lineup, including new carbon fiber parts such as the bonnet and rear diffuser. Furthermore, the GT500KR features a supercharged engine that achieves a staggering 900 horsepower, primal improvement over the standard 2022 GT500 that boasts 760 hp. The suspension and wheel control systems also show improvement.
GT500KR’s design allows customization with an optional widebody kit, blue racing stripes, removable rear seats, a historic nameplate, and new emblems placed around the vehicle. A classic of speed that adapts to your needs.
