The days of cold and snuggling up comfortably to enjoy a delicious cup of tea are here. The autumn wind blows more strongly, inviting us to cover ourselves with style. It’s just the perfect time to pamper yourself and create a super cozy atmosphere with deliciously warm and soft blankets like the ones from the Longchamp x Kristine Five Melvær collaboration.
This winter, Longchamp Creative Director Sophie Delafontaine takes us to a chalet in the Alps, thanks to the collaboration between Longchamp and Kristine Five. A four-piece capsule characterized by its striking colors (orange, blue, gray, and burgundy) and geometric lines.
Perhaps the highlight is a wool blanket woven in Norway by Røros Tweed, who have produced beautiful, durable, and sustainable wool products in their workshop in the small mountain town of Røros since 1940. Wonderfully soft and light and finished with original scallop stitch, it can be rolled up and transported in a specially designed Russian leather case by Longchamp: two traditions of artisanal savoir-faire in one piece forever. So if you are looking for the perfect gift for Christmas, this collection is for you.
The blanket is accompanied by a wool shawl and a long fringed scarf, both embroidered with the Longchamp racehorse logo. Completing the capsule is an oversized color-blocked sweater in a luxurious wool and angora blend, perfect for a stylish weekend in the Alps or elsewhere!
