SUVs are the preferred choice for those living an active and adventurous lifestyle without sacrificing style and comfort. There is no doubt that the pioneer of this range is by far Range Rover, who for more than 50 years have marked the way forward, combining these elements with an unsurpassed ability to conquer all terrains.
Recently, the English house presented its 2022 model, seducing the world with a surprising mix of modernity and aesthetic grace with sophisticated technological advances and unsurpassed connectivity. This sleek new model is the epitome of refined luxury, offering more range and customization options than ever before in its history.
Land Rover’s new flexible longitudinal modular architecture, MLA-Flex, underpins every aspect of this luxury SUV, from its unmatched capability and agile handling to its unsurpassed refinement. By combining cutting-edge engineering techniques with new levels of virtual development and Land Rover’s rigorous development program, the new Range Rover will deliver new levels of quality.
Taking care of the environment
A pair of innovative Extended Range Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrains provide CO2 emissions below 30g / km, with a purely electric driving range of up to 100km (62 miles), offering a range Actual expected up to 80 km (50 miles). More than enough for typical Range Rover customers to complete up to 75% of trips using only electrical power.
The new luxury SUV is available on SE, HSE and Autobiography trim. A first edition will be available during the first year of production, based on Autobiography and a unique specification. It is exclusively available in a Sunset Gold Satin finish from a selection of five exterior colors. Standard (SWB) or Long Wheelbase (LWB) body layouts are available with five seats, while the new Range Rover LWB model is available with a third row for added comfort for up to seven adults. Now, you can ride comfortably with your friends and family.
Impressive modernity
The fifth-generation luxury SUV takes Land Rover’s modernist design philosophy to the next level, with a contemporary interpretation of its trademark profile to create an incredible design statement.
The new Range Rover stands out by three lines that can trace its origins through the generations; the descending ceiling line, the strong waistline, and the ascending threshold line. These branding features combine with a characteristically short front overhang and a distinctive new boat tail at the rear, complete with a practical split tailgate, to create a sleek profile that conveys Range Rover’s unmatched presence.
The unbroken waistband shows Land Rover’s attention to detail as the rounded edge of the door meets glass in a refined finish thanks to a specially designed concealed waist trim. The technology that enables the design is combined with flush glazing, concealed lighting until turned on, and precise details to create the impression that the vehicle is milled from a solid.
Sophisticated surfaces provide a clean, contemporary look and contribute to a 0.30 coefficient of drag, making it the most aerodynamically efficient luxury SUV in the world.
The luxurious interior enhances with modern, intuitive, and relevant technologies, designed to work in harmony with the best materials and wellness innovations to create a tranquil sanctuary for all occupants, turning every trip into an experience to savor.
Unmatched refinement
The new Range Rover makes every trip an unforgettable occasion, combining advanced technology with modern luxury to bring unparalleled refinement to all occupants, including those in the new third-row seats.
By eliminating unwanted noise, vibrations, and distractions and reducing the cognitive load on the driver and passengers, occupants will arrive at their destination feeling refreshed, even after the longest journeys.
Concerned about your health and that of your companions
The new Range Rover brings new ways of comfort to the luxury SUV industry, and Cabin Air Purification Pro3 is the culmination of this pioneering technology. It combines dual-nanoeTM X technology for allergen reduction and pathogen elimination to help significantly reduce odors and viruses, while CO2 management and PM2.5 cabin air filtration improve air quality. Advanced nanoeTM X technology is scientifically proven to reduce viruses and bacteria, including SARS-CoV-23 viruses. The innovative technology is active in the air, so particles do not have to pass through a filter to be trapped and neutralized. A second nanoeTM X device in Row 2 optimizes its effectiveness for all occupants.
Inside, the versatile new cargo space floor protects luggage and enhances comfort. The floor panel lifts forward to create a partition to hold smaller items and keep them within easy reach during unloading. It can also pivot back along its leading edge to serve as a backrest when using the lower rear door as outdoor seating.
The new Tailgate Event Suite6 takes the Versatile Loadspace Floor back concept to new heights, combining additional lighting, audio features, and custom-made cushions to create the perfect vantage point for outdoor relaxation.
Exquisite customization
The new Range Rover SV will provide an exquisite interpretation of Range Rover luxury and personalization, giving customers even more scope to create a truly individual vehicle with a selection of SV exclusive design themes, details, and material options.
This handcrafted model will be the first to feature the new SV ceramic impeller and the simplified naming strategy, known simply as SV. The SV Roundel represents the distillation of design and Special Vehicle Operations engineering passion for modern luxury, performance, and capability. The SV round will identify all-new Land Rover vehicles released by Special Vehicle Operations in the future.
Exclusive materials include high-gloss plated metals, smooth ceramic, intricate mosaic marquetry, and soft near-aniline leather, as well as sustainable non-leather Ultrafabrics ™.
The luxurious new SV Signature Suite option on LWB models epitomizes the luxury and craftsmanship of Range Rover SV, providing an unparalleled travel environment for its most discerning customers. Its unique seats feature a 24-way adjustment with massage functionality, as a sleek, electrically unfolding Club table rises theatrically from the fixed full-length center console on beautifully designed supports to provide a convenient workspace when needed.
The new benchmark for quality
The new Range Rover was sketched, developed, and manufactured in the UK; during the process, Land Rover has filed no fewer than 125 patents covering everything from its pioneering chassis technologies to its PHEV battery. Land Rover engineers used simulation technology derived from motorsports to put the vehicle to the test in the virtual world more thoroughly and intensively than ever, completing more than 140,000 hours of computational analysis before physical testing.
Then a fleet of prototypes embarked on a rigorous global testing and development program, absorbing extreme temperatures ranging from 45 ° C desert heat to -30 ° C Arctic cold.
The new Range Rover will be produced exclusively at Solihull’s UK manufacturing facility, using a state-of-the-art production line based in the building, used to create the first Land Rovers in the series. The historic building is Land Rover’s spiritual home, and its reinvention as a new, ultra-modern center for Range Rover production shows how the company protects its heritage.
The new Range Rover is available to order now, priced at £ 94,400 in the UK. Configure yours: landrover.com/newrangerover
