Lunar New Year is the perfect time for Ulysse Nardin to once again surprise the world of Haute Horlogerie by presenting his new ultra-design timepiece, a novel version of one of his most complicated astronomical clocks, the exclusive Blast Moonstruck.
Among the complications that stand out in this large 45mm piece in black ceramic and titanium with DLC treatment are the world time, the moon phase, the date, the days of the lunar calendar, as well as the position of the sun and the moon concerning the earth, represented by a domed hemisphere seen from the North Pole rising above the sapphire crystal.
This watch takes inspiration from one of the most celebrated works of the house, the famous Trilogy of Time, created in 1980 by the master watchmaker Ludwig Oechslin.
This imposing piece will make you feel the center of the universe by using a central geocentric screen on its dial with information and presented elegantly, despite showcasing different complications.
In addition, Ulysse Nardin seeks to minimize the number of adjustments required and will supply each watch with a Swiss Kubik winder to keep it running. This part is now available at authorized dealers.
