The Catalonia Festival in Mexico City proposes a series of experiences with tastings and tastings of gourmet Catalan products.

Throughout March, Catalan gastronomy has been the protagonist of this gourmet festival. Several experiences and activities invited people to take a gastronomic trip through Catalonia. The premise was to get to know its most renowned vineyards and wineries, taste the delicious sausages from the mainland, try the traditional preserves of its Mediterranean seafood, and discover the classic vermouth.
As part of the inauguration of the Catalonia Festival, a tasting took place to promote some of the 12 most prestigious Denominations of Origin (O. D.) that Catalonia has: OD. Catalonia, QOD. Priory, OD. Conca de Barberá, DO. Terra Alta, DO. Penedès and DO. Digging.

Enjoy these experiences and discover variety, quality, and excellence in Catalan food and beverages in eight hot spots across Mexico City. Each one brings together more than 30 brands and up to 250 gourmet products such as red and white wines, cellars, vermouth, chocolates, oils, kinds of vinegar, mineral water, sausages, preserved seafood, and gluten-free products.
The agenda of activities focuses on eight La Naval stores located in different parts of Mexico City: Insurgentes, Polanco, Río Lerma, Coyoacán, Félix Cuevas, Campestre Churubusco, Pedregal, and Grand San Francisco.

La Quilla, located in the La Naval stores in Insurgentes, Río Lerma, and Polanco, also joins the Festival of Catalonia in Mexico with a proposal of typical dishes of Catalan cuisine such as bread with tomato, suquet de peix (fish broth), escalivada with anchovies, butifarra with beans, veal fricandó, coca de Sant Joan, and various proposals for Catalan wines.
