The season of sharing and promoting generosity is back after a forced pause last year due to the confinements of the pandemic; the grand social events for the benefit of the noblest causes also start with it.
Last Thursday, December 2, and until Sunday, December 5, the traditional Vintage Sale was held to support programs of the Friends of MAP.
This fabulous event is carried out thanks to the generosity of great personalities such as the distinguished ladies Viviana Corcuera, Esperanza Alanis, Irma Salinas, Zaira Marino, Molen Antolin, the board of trustees and directors of the Museum of Popular Art, and the effort and support of many figures such as the Friends of the MAP. Carlos Bracho and Claudia Lizaldi, MAP ambassadors, attended the ribbon-cutting.
From seven in the morning, long queues of people began to create, waiting to participate in this sale. And it is that within the available pieces were designer items, collectible furniture, unique accessories, popular art pieces, and many surprises, at incredibly accessible prices.
The calling was by Amigos del MAP, who have prepared for next year’s events and activities out of series such as sensory experiences to support folk artisans and MAP programs and facilities.
