Pro-Ject, a turntable specialist that once worked with Universal Music Group for distinctive turntables celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ The White Album, is now collaborating with heavy metal band Metallica on an incredibly limited edition piece. Dubbed the «Pro-Ject Ninja Star Turntable,» the vinyl player is for those looking for an impact piece for their home and true audiophiles.
The design stands up by a mirror-finished metal logo outline, a clear glass platter, and height-adjustable aluminum legs. The electronic speed control allows easy changes between 33/45 and 78 RPM, and the Pick it S2 C cartridge ensures a precise and exciting sound. Finally, the tracking force and anti-skate are adjustable to complete the 4.5 kg (10 lb) package.
The Metallica x Pro-Ject turntable is now available for pre-order on the Metallica and Pro-Ject websites, with deliveries expected to ship in November.
