Despertares Impulsa, Isaac Hernández and support for new talents

Reading Time: 1.4 min.

The lights go down, the curtain rises, and the music begins. The result of so many years of effort, discipline, and commitment has been worth it. With each movement, the audience is charmed – for a few minutes- they forget about their day-to-day life as they are captivated by the universal language of dance. Many seek to pursue this dream, and very few stars manage to make it come true. Such is the case of Isaac Hernández, who, having conquered the top, seeks to help other talents fulfill their dreams through Despertares Impulsa.

From 248 registered applicants, seventy-seven students from Nuevo León and other Mexican states were pre-selected. After the auditions held by the Royal Ballet School in Nuevo León, five participants met the requirements to be candidates to enter the prestigious school. Among those selected are three women and two men aged between twelve and sixteen from the states of Nuevo León, Jalisco, and Mexico City.

These auditions were made possible thanks to the efforts of First Dancer Isaac Hernández, in alliance with Despertares Impulsa, Soul Arts Productions, and the Nuevo León Ministry of Culture. Royal Ballet School teachers Iain Mackay and Jessica Clark evaluated the applicants. Those selected will get a letter informing them of their acceptance to enter the institution.

The dancer celebrates the selection of five Mexicans by the Royal Ballet School. They will get the unique opportunity to continue their artistic training in such a prestigious institution.

I encourage you to take responsibly this opportunity that can change your lives and be worthy representatives of Mexico in the world. Constant work and discipline will be essential for their growth as artists and human beings.

Isaac Hernández. First dancer of the San Francisco Ballet and co-founder of Soul Arts Productions.

We hope these new talents conquer their dreams and surprise the world by raising the name of Mexico.
