Reimagining the classics has been a successful formula for Bang & Olufsen, one of the most trusted and exclusive houses in audio and design. Following this trend, now, they surprise us with their new Beosystem 72-22, a piece created as a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Beogram 4000 turntable by Bang & Olufsen.

The Bang & Olufsen 4000 Series turntable was first developed in 1972 by Danish industrial designer Jacob Jensen, with a mission to evolve the turntable. “No one should care about how bridges are built – The goal is to find out how to get to the other side in the best possible way,” said the designer.

The new Beosystem 72-22 features an upgraded Beogram 4000c turntable customized by hand in sandblasted titanium-tone aluminum and solid walnut. The music system comes complete with Beolab 18 stereo speakers housed in a solid walnut cabinet.

A Helo remote charging station and wireless connectivity capabilities to stream without the turntable complete the deal for a more convenient experience.

The Beosystem 72-22 is limited to just 30 units and is an exclusive US release.
