MIKIMOTO x Chrome Hearts return in 2026 with the second chapter of their jewelry collaboration, featuring five handcrafted pieces in 22K yellow gold with Akoya pearls, natural diamonds and Chrome Hearts’ signature gothic motifs.
MIKIMOTO x Chrome Hearts: Two Different Visions of Luxury
Some collaborations bring together two brands. Others bring together two entirely different philosophies of luxury.
For the second chapter of their coveted partnership, MIKIMOTO and Chrome Hearts once again challenge expectations, proving that the timeless elegance of pearls can coexist effortlessly with the rebellious attitude of gothic design.
The Second MIKIMOTO x Chrome Hearts Collection Goes 22K Gold
Following the success of their first capsule in white gold, the new collection introduces 22K yellow gold, giving each piece a richer, warmer character reminiscent of heirloom jewelry while reinforcing the handcrafted identity shared by both maisons.
Bringing together contrasting traditions, the capsule combines MIKIMOTO’s legendary Akoya pearls and natural diamonds with Chrome Hearts’ unmistakable visual language—defined by floral crosses, sculptural forms and rock-inspired symbolism.
The 5 Pieces in the MIKIMOTO x Chrome Hearts 2026 Collection
Five handcrafted creations make up the collection, combining MIKIMOTO’s pearl expertise with Chrome Hearts’ unmistakable design language. Among them are a 22K Gold Cross Pearl Necklace and a Pearl & Cross Bracelet. In addition, the capsule features a Safety Pin Brooch and two distinctive Drop Earring designs.
22K Gold Cross Pearl Necklace: The Standout Piece
At the center of the collection is the 22K Gold Cross Pearl Necklace, where meticulously matched Akoya pearls meet pavé-set diamonds and Chrome Hearts’ iconic cross motif. Rather than feeling traditionally classic or overtly rebellious, the design occupies a space between both worlds and offers a different perspective on contemporary high jewelry.
As luxury increasingly embraces unexpected creative partnerships, MIKIMOTO and Chrome Hearts demonstrate that craftsmanship remains the common language. One house has spent more than a century perfecting the world’s most celebrated cultured pearls, while the other has built a devoted following by transforming gothic iconography into collectible luxury.
How Did MIKIMOTO x Chrome Hearts Begin?
Behind the collaboration is Jesse Jo Stark, daughter of Chrome Hearts founders Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark, who proposed bringing pearls into the brand’s unconventional jewelry universe. According to the story behind the partnership, Richard Stark had a clear condition: if Chrome Hearts was going to work with pearls, they had to be MIKIMOTO.
In doing so, the partnership connected two seemingly opposite worlds: the Japanese maison’s century-long expertise in cultured pearls and Chrome Hearts’ unmistakable language of crosses, gothic references and rock-inspired luxury.
Where to Buy MIKIMOTO x Chrome Hearts
Produced in extremely limited quantities, the second Chrome Hearts x MIKIMOTO capsule will be available through selected Chrome Hearts flagship boutiques in Tokyo, London and New York, as well as MIKIMOTO’s Ginza Main Store.
More than another luxury collaboration, this collection is a reminder that the future of high jewelry often lies in the most unexpected conversations.
