Following the success of their first capsule in white gold, the new collection introduces 22K yellow gold, giving each piece a richer, warmer character reminiscent of heirloom jewelry while reinforcing the handcrafted identity shared by both maisons.
The capsule seamlessly combines MIKIMOTO’s legendary Akoya pearls and natural diamonds with Chrome Hearts’ unmistakable visual language—defined by floral crosses, sculptural silverwork and rock-inspired symbolism.
The collection consists of five handcrafted creations: a statement cross pendant necklace, a Pearl & Cross bracelet, a safety pin brooch and two distinctive drop earring designs.
The standout piece is undoubtedly the 22K Gold Cross Pearl Necklace, where meticulously matched Akoya pearls meet pavé-set diamonds and Chrome Hearts’ iconic cross motif. The result feels neither traditionally classic nor overtly rebellious—it exists somewhere in between, redefining what contemporary high jewelry can look like.
At a time when luxury increasingly embraces unexpected creative partnerships, MIKIMOTO and Chrome Hearts demonstrate that craftsmanship remains the common language. Produced in extremely limited quantities, the second Chrome Hearts x MIKIMOTO capsule will be available through selected Chrome Hearts flagship boutiques in Tokyo, London and New York, as well as MIKIMOTO’s Ginza Main Store.
