Parisian chic flows effortlessly. Fabulously functional and shows us that fashion passes, but style remains. A perfect example of this is the Bucket bag. A statement accessory that has been reinterpreted by Longchamp on different occasions and now returns with a new version that evokes the spirit of Paris, in particular its legendary bistros.
For fall/winter 2022, the Longchamp Bucket returns with a new name, Epure, perfectly expressing its elegant essence. Longchamp was inspired by the multicolored wicker weave from typical Parisian bistro chairs to reinterpret the Bucket Epure bag in braided leather.
There are three variations. Each combines six different colors for a striking effect. Beige with predominantly red, yellow, and blue accents and blue trim on the top, base, and handle; orange with white, blue, and purple accents and purple trim; and pale pink with white, red, and black accents and black trim. l’embarras du choix, how they say in France! (a million options).
Furthermore, Longchamp decided not to purchase any new materials to create the designs, so they opted to use leftover skins from previous productions. A conscious choice that makes these beautifully crafted bags even more desirable.
Another proposal for the new Bucket Epure is braided leather interpreted with a Chunky spirit of thick fabric, linked to the inspiration of the Longchamp Fall/winter 2022 ready-to-wear collection. Showing off savoir-faire From Longchamp, the black leather Bucket is woven with snow-white straps and the brand’s traditional signature green.
Last but not least, the Epure collection is enriched with two new designs in Russian leather: a small shoulder bag inspired by the flap of Le Pliage and – trend alert! – a bottle holder with a leather cord. This ingenious accessory, available in black, brown, orange, and green, comes with a 500ml refillable bottle in insulated steel, featuring the horse logo Longchamp racing stripes and flashing side stripes in striking green.
