Golf, Haute Horlogerie and Dubai, formed the perfect luxury trifecta to celebrate the end of the 2021 golf season. The event was in late November at the exclusive Els Club in Dubai. For this happening, the Maison invited 72 watch enthusiasts to enjoy a unique sports experience joined by some of the Audemars Piguet ambassador golfers.
Adri Arnaus, Andy Sullivan, Bernd Wiesberger, Danny Willett, Tyrrell Hatton, and Abraham Ancer, members of the Dream Team, joined the AP family to celebrate the brand’s Golf Invitational tournament; on an event aimed at professional golfers and Haute Horlogerie enthusiasts. The goal was to promote coexistence in an atmosphere of fun and healthy competition.
As part of this celebration in honor of the precision that unites this sport with Haute Horlogerie, the players of the Le Brassus Manufacture golf team wore two new 44 mm Royal Oak Offshore models in unprecedented two-color combinations, in blue with red and in yellow with blue.
The tournament began with a fascinating challenge for the members of the Dream Team on the driving range organized by Me and My Golf, the most popular YouTubers in the world of golf, followed by an entertainment show by Geoff Swain, former world champion of golf. Golf trick shots. Following this fun warm-up, the ambassadors, sporting the Manufacture’s latest 44mm Royal Oak Offshore Two-Color Automatic Chronograph, led their teams of watchmaking enthusiasts on a round of golf on the Els Club course. The lucky enthusiasts had an unbeatable opportunity to perfect their shots thanks to the valuable advice of the professionals.
