Mezcal Mixology, Celebrate Mexican Holidays

Do you want to celebrate Mexican holidays and toast with the most popular Mexican spirit of the moment, but your throat is not ready for something with so much presence? We already know that for all bad, mezcal. However, a spirit drink usually marketed with graduation above forty degrees is not well tolerated by those who do not like robust flavors. So this time, we recommend some very Mexican cocktails to prepare with your favorite mezcal and celebrate the love of the Mexican land to the top.

And remember that to best savor mezcal cocktails, it is advisable to use fresh and natural ingredients.

MEZCALINO

Ingredients

One mezcal rocking glass 

One dollop of lemon juice

1/4 cup of mineral water

1/4 cup ginger ale

1/4 cucumber in thin slices

1/2 cup of crushed ice

Instructions

Arrange cucumber slices in the glasses. Serve ice, mezcal, lemon, mineral water, and ginger ale.

SUNSET OAXAQUEÑO

Ingredients

Ice

1/3 of Cup of grenadine

Mezcal

1/2 cup of orange juice

Mineral water

Orange segments

Instructions

Place the ice in the long glass, add the grenadine, then the desired measure of mezcal, and half the orange juice.

Fill with mineral water and garnish with orange wedges.

PINEAPPLE WITH MEZCAL AND SERRANO CHILE

Ingredients

One mezcal rocking glass

½ cup pineapple juice

½ glass of mineral water

¼ serrano pepper

¼ cup coriander leaves

½ tbsp. worm salt

½ lemon squeezed

¼ cup pineapple triangles

Instructions

Frost the glass with lemon juice and worm salt. In a shaker, mix the mezcal with the serrano pepper, coriander, and pineapple juice. Add ice and shake.

Serve in the glass with more ice and finish with mineral water. Decorate using the pineapple triangles.
