Thirty years ago, a bridge grew between Mexico and Galicia to learn about the good life of this region through products such as wines, distillates, and preserved seafood, among others, with the first commercial mission of Galicia in Mexico. To celebrate it, El Palacio de Hierro, along with the Xunta de Galicia in Mexico, presents the Galicia Festival El Buen Camino.
Among the surprises they have prepared, you will be able to enjoy more than one hundred and forty new products such as wines, distillates, and preserves from the sea, as well as nine exclusive brands to Gourmet Palacio’s Galician product offerings, such as La Brújula, La Curiosa preserves, Ar de Arte, A Rosaleira, Porto Muiños, Do Gaieiro and more, all available in physical stores and its online portal.
In addition, the Xunta de Galicia and El Palacio de Hierro have prepared a series of unique activations that will take place in participating CDMX stores (Polanco, Santa Fe, Durango, Perisur, Coyoacán, Interlomas, and Centro), Querétaro, Puebla, and Monterrey; in which you can enjoy wine and preserved seafood tastings, among other products. To celebrate the launch of this festival, La Cantina Palacio held a meal served by Lucía Freitas, a Galician chef awarded with a Michelin star, who, in collaboration with the chefs of Gastronomía Palacio, prepared a menu for the guests present, such as the Ambassador from Spain in Mexico: Juan Duarte Cuadrado; Mrs. María Jesús Lorenzana Somoza: Minister of Economy, Industry and Innovation of the Xunta de Galicia, as well as the Galician Community in Mexico and friends of El Palacio de Hierro, in which Statement was present.
