Historic cycling brand Harley-Davidson has joined forces with menswear designer Todd Snyder to launch a limited-edition capsule collection.
The collection embodies the spirit of motorcycle racing and allows Snyder to become the first designer to access and work with HD files. Drawing inspiration from the workwear and leather jackets once worn by bikers, the capsule items include a black hoodie with logo lettering, a black and white checkered racing flag shirt, and a baseball tee.
Reflecting on the collection design, Snyder says, «Harley launched its first catalog in 1912 to sell parts, accessories, and apparel. I was struck and inspired by the technical gear (race jerseys that reminded me of vintage football jerseys) and some graphics that were more than a century old and others from the 1960s and 1970s.»
