Nineties nostalgia and Hollywood franchises are a wonder bet for sports shoe collections. A great example is Reebok’s second Jurassic collection, Reebok x Jurassic World Dominion.
Last year, Reebok and Universal teamed up to create the Reebok x Jurassic Park collection, which celebrated the iconic original 1993 film, filled with an intense nostalgia for the franchise. This year’s Reebok x Jurassic World Dominion line takes inspiration from the latest film. It pays homage to themes of bioengineering and dinosaurs fresh and old. Each piece of footwear features glowing amber accents and a classified information label. Encapsulated in a box of inspiration in the amber stone.
In this collection, the most important thing is the details. A clear example is the Classic Leather Ripple. Blue, the fan-favorite Velociraptor, is present on the side of the shoe, and the box and heel details feature references to Blue and Beta, with their signature claw element. In addition, this model is available in unisex and children’s sizes. Perfect for an entertaining family afternoon.
The collection includes other models like the LX2200. This model takes inspiration from genetic coding. DNA-inspired elements are found throughout the shoe, including a DNA sequencing tongue and a marble-like sole to represent different types of DNA come together to create a variety of textures and colors.
