Reading Time: 1.5 min.

Now that the Easter holidays are just around the corner, it is the perfect time to explore Mexico City at leisure without traffic jams, crowds, and the chaos of everyday life. With this in mind, Statement presents four reasons not to miss The Black Swan and its presentation at the Chapultepec Castle, which runs from Thursday to Sunday until April 7.

1 Unforgettable scenarios

Even before the performance begins, magic is everywhere you look in this historic venue. Whether on a walking tour or in the assigned vans, the hill that takes you to the castle creates an atmosphere of expectation and fantasy that predisposes us to enjoy the staging and imagine that we are part of a great fantasy story. This illusion tops when watching the company dance in a surprising setting among water, lights, and talent combined to create magical scenes.

2 Passion on stage

The talent of La Infinita Compañía dazzles attendees and raptures them by performing the ballet classic in a wildly contemporary version in which not only do the classic characters of the story stand out, but each member captivates with sublime movements and passion on stage.

3 Art in the details

With such a magnificent venue, surprising scenery, and an extraordinary display of talent, the costumes stand out as an everpresent statement of style. These are created by the talented designer Concepción Orvañanos, from Yakampot, in collaboration with the sustainability area of Grupo Presidente through a donation of unused 300 thread count sheets to showcase the talents of La Infinita Compañía.

4 Originality reinvented

Faced with the imposing challenge of reviving a classic and surprising, the creative genius of the talented dancer, choreographer, and artistic director of the work, Rodrigo González, enchants the public with an original and empowered vision, told from the perspective of the Black Swan.

The presentation is an inspiring and stimulating experience that invites you to enjoy an unbeatable evening. Whether as a family, a couple, or for a different plan among friends, this experience delights the senses and offers a new and sublime way to experience a historic place in Mexico City. As if that were not enough, the production seeks to bring art closer to the people, and in each performance, it invites special assistants such as the members of the Teletón Ballet and their families.
