The past and present coexist and give space to luxury and good taste in the reopening of El Palacio de Hierro Satélite. A new venue in which the luxury department store in Mexico pays tribute to the concept of ideas that were the foundation for the creation and development of Ciudad Satélite during the 50s and 60s and its evolution to the present day.
Since November 1st, the renovated Palacio de Hierro Satélite reopened its doors to provide a unique family shopping experience with 37,604 m2, distributed over four levels.
The art of Ciudad Satélite has been the inspiration for this Palace. Here you will find a well-deserved tribute to the iconic Satélite Towers by architects Luis Barragán and Mathias Goeritz, which, due to their imposing size and color, could not fail to have a fundamental presence in the planning and development of this project, reinterpreting them in the four columns of the store atrium with a free height of more than 22 meters, crossing all levels of the store.
In addition, you can see seven murals inspired by Ciudad Satélite, distributed inside the store, which highlight the talent of plastic artists Mexicans like Eduardo Zendejas (HOWS), Daniel Escobedo, Alexis Agustín Sámano (PIGMENT), among others.
In the new Palacio de Hierro Satélite, you will find eight unmissable experiences from Palacio de Hierro. Origen, the novel conscious beauty space; Hello Yellow for those of us who love the Totalmente Palacio identity, The already known and delicious Café Palacio; the Barber Shop in which you will find the best grooming and shaving products and the best masters of the art of barbering, Clean Industry, the space to take care of your sneakers, Natural Gourmet, the paradise of healthy and light food, Aristopet with everything to take care of the pampered person in the house and the Palacio Terrace, the Palacio’s new gourmet space with eighteen kitchens from the most relevant franchises in the country.
