Mexican popular art and its exquisite textiles are beginning to occupy the well-deserved place of prestige and recognition that they deserve in the eyes of the world; as an example of this, the third edition of ORIGINAL, the largest meeting of Mexican Textile Art, arrives at the Los Pinos Cultural Center.
This fabulous initiative is a cultural movement to make visible and appreciate the artistic work of the creative people and communities of Mexico, which has served as a platform to exhibit the richness and quality of their work to create a linking channel that has fostered countless ethical collaborations between artists and industry and generated new exhibition spaces, national and international sales, promoting Mexican design in the world. In this edition, ORIGINAL will have the participation of a thousand artisans from all over Mexico.
ORIGINAL’s board is formed of artisans and transcendent personalities from the fashion and interior design industry to reinforce the impact of this movement, so each proposal presented on its catwalks and each offer available at the sales stands promise to be true works of art created by prodigious hands that represent the best of Mexico.
