Grand Seiko celebrates the beauty of autumn and the first days of spring with Boshū and Bantō, the latest in the Elegance collection.
Grand Seiko has just presented two new installments of its Elegance Collection. Again inspired by nature and the surrounding environment at the Grand Seiko Studio in Shizukuishi, northern Japan, Boshū, and Bantō refer to the beauty of autumn at its peak and the harbinger of spring, respectively.
Both watches stand powered by Grand Seiko’s slim hand-wound Caliber 9S64, a movement that provides a 72-hour power reserve, SPRON alloy mainsprings, and a balance wheel. Authentic pieces of art and technology for the most demanding.
The Boshū boasts a deeply textured burgundy dial that references rich autumn leaves, while the Bantō dial has a gradient champagne color that tells the story of when the harshest winter days have passed; and a warm light begins to warm the snow-capped mountains.
