The world of Fine Watchmaking boasts iconic pieces that have become the obsession of timepieces and fashion enthusiasts. A clear example of this is Chopard’s Happy Sport, which since 1993 has played mix & match, happily mixing genres, steel, diamonds, the eternal, and the ephemeral, and this summer presents us with the joy of living with new proportions that celebrate its feminine essence.
At the heart of the new Happy Sport, reimagined in a 25-millimeter diameter case of Lucent Steel™ or Lucent Steel™ and ethical gold, the race of moving diamonds becomes even more fascinating. This unprecedented format of the manufacturer’s iconic watch sports in seven versions alternating different materials, colors, and straps – including a new alternative with a double loop – and diamond settings.
The Happy Sport watch reappears in a more kawaï version than ever with a 25-millimeter diameter case that celebrates the spirit of jewelry watches and offers the fascination of five moving diamonds. At the heart of the dial lies all the fluffy sweetness of silver grey, blue, pink, or green tones.
Of this case of unprecedented proportions, the most miniaturized version of the Happy Sport ever produced, there are seven versions available: in Lucent Steel™ – Chopard’s exclusive steel manufactured with 80% recycled materials – fully polished or adorned with diamonds on the bezel, and Lucent Steel™ with 18K ethical rose gold crown, cabochons and bezel, the latter available in a polished or diamond-set version.
In the non-set versions, a magnificent double-loop leather strap gives the Happy Sport an ultra-chic touch. As bold as a fashion accessory, this delicate, elongated strap dresses the wrist, reinventing the watch in a way never seen before in the collection.
