Night of celebration with tequila, Manzanilla, and Benito Molina

Reading Time: 1.4 min.

Due to its characteristic flavor and strong presence, pairing food with tequila is not usual. However, by choosing a smooth distillate, the possibilities increase. Whether enjoying meat or choosing seafood, the flavors in each dish enhance by the beat of the agave notes on a night of celebration.

That is the reason why Tequila Tres Generaciones created Celebration Nights. Renowned chefs like Edgar Núñez from Sud777 and Alexander Suástegui from Costela delight foodies with a series of selected menus matched with Tequila Tres Generaciones. Signature dishes and others are created from scratch to offer diners a unique experience and celebrate their legacy.

This time it is the turn of Ensenada and the Manzanilla restaurant, so the acclaimed chef Benito Molina surprises the attendees until August 22nd.

Chef Benito Molina – head of Manzanilla restaurant in Ensenada, Baja California – partnered with Tequila Tres Generaciones, offering a unique pairing menu, where the food and drinks enhance each other and enrich all the flavors of the sea accompanied by the notes of this tequila and its different labels, through a selection of Manzanilla’s flagship dishes.

Through these menus, Tres Generaciones recognizes chefs capable of creating more than dishes but also unique sensory experiences.

This summer, in alliance with Tequila Tres Generaciones, Manzanilla offers flagship dishes as part of a unique pairing menu with the four labels of this tequila:

The first course presents a shrimp meatball with chayote spaghetti accompanied by Tequila Tres Generaciones Reposado.

Second, the Fish of the day is served with beans and pork rinds in green sauce with pumpkin to pair with Tequila Tres Generaciones Añejo Cristalino.

For dessert, Benito Molina proposes sweet potato cheese, a Ramonetti cheese ice cream with sweet potato puree, and crispy oatmeal flakes. Perfect to enjoy with Tequila Tres Generaciones Añejo.

And through effort and setbacks has been awarded as happened in 2014 when Manzanilla was part of the list of the 50 Best of San Pellegrino in Latin America in position no. 25.
