Flamencaba is born in collaboration with the incomparable Rossy de Palma, an actress and a long-time friend of the designer. Each piece draws inspiration from the region’s rich flamenco culture and tradition and highlights the know-how of local artisans with ornate details inspired by flamenco dresses.
Flirty nods to flamenco tradition brighten up the pieces in the collection, as in the case of the Flamencaba Small Tote bag, in which two Flamenco dancers, like Christian and Rossy, seem to come to life on a background of black cotton canvas and the polka-dot ruffles of the red Loubi de Rossy dress overflow from the bag and recall Spain iconic vintage postcards.
Inspired by the flamenco theme, the FLAMENCABA MINI bag combines haute couture with an elegance reminiscent of the iconic shawls worn by Andalusian dancers. The handle of the FLAMENCABA MINI bag is made of handmade mesh and sports a playful nod to Rossy’s passion for hand fans. Inside, the lining is adorned with the exclusive FERIA print, perfectly merging Louboutin and flamenco aesthetics.
The capsule also features a selection of men’s and women’s shoes and hand fans that echo Andalusian inspiration with intricate embroidery, ruffles, and saturated colors.
