The best cuisine from the State of Mexico at Cantina Palacio

May has been splendid for El Palacio de Hierro; first, they surprised us with a spectacular campaign to celebrate their original and authentic style of several generations. Then, they invited us to feel like rockstars in their most recent experience to capture the perfect pic for your networks, now also spread the long tablecloths of Cantina Palacio to present its new venue at El Palacio Satélite, relishing the best of the cuisine of the State of Mexico in a splendid menu by the talented chef Pablo Salas in a culinary proposal available in May and June in the Palacio Cantinas.

To celebrate, Statement Media was present at the presentation meal of a menu in which Chef Salas’ creations are surprising in flavors and textures by highlighting the fresh nuances of local ingredients; for example, the Roasted Beet Salad lures by coloring the dish with the signature tone of the vegetable and sharing its characteristic flavor without dominating and in perfect symphony with the goat cheese and the sugared pumpkin seed.

In a simple and colorful presentation, the Amaranta crepes, filled with pumpkin blossom, chicken, and mushrooms, bathed in pepper sauce, invite you to enjoy a delicious alternative with a surprising flavor and pristine preparation; the 12 lunas syrah rosé was a wise decision to increase the delight.

A favorite among guests was the Smoked Salmon Trout with Guacamole. For this course, Salas and his team revisit trout to elevate its flavors and textures and create a salmon-like touch in a presentation that invites you to enjoy every bite. 

Pablo Salas’ Cantina proposal for Gastronomía Palacio would not be complete without the traditional Milanese beef enhanced with the touch of Salas and his team, conquers with a flavor that presents the typical dish in a new flavor experience. 

However, the real surprise was in the dessert, in which the inspiration of the State of Mexico is undeniable in a Canarian tamale with supreme flavor, served with cheese ice cream and hibiscus reduction, which you cannot pass up. Don’t miss this. This menu will be available during May and June at the Cantina Palacio of El Palacio de Hierro.
