Whiskey is a drink with a lot of personality, tradition, and interpretations. Its flavor and its history attract different generations. And on special occasions, it shares with the world the legacy provided by the passage of time and craftsmanship. Such is the case with the Time Reimagined Collection from Glenfiddich, the world’s most-awarded single malt.

Time Reimagined is a collection of 50, 40, and 30 years that builds a glorious bridge between the past and the present. These extraordinary aged and exclusive single malt whiskeys represent the pinnacle of years passing and the peak of the distillery’s signature style. Each one gets improved by the constant passage of years and comes in a unique case with bespoke artwork.

The collection consists of three extraordinary single malt whiskeys that have matured over decades and have developed a rare richness and depth of flavor. The rarest in this coveted collection is 50 Year Old, a stunning representation of Simultaneous Time that explores the parallel and complex conditions and effects that have influenced this refined liquid.

The 40-Year-Old stands for Cumulative Time, drawing attention to the layers of flavor built up within its liquid, made possible by the remnant vatting process pioneered by Glenfiddich.

The collection is complete with the 30-Year-Old, which embodies Suspended Time, the moment when Master Malt suspends whiskey development, displaying the purest expression of the distiller’s character.

Since the 1960s, just three Malt Masters have been in charge of this collection, overseeing the patient crafting of these rare and precious casks. Several decades later, these single malts have reached the zenith of their maturity and are ready for the market.

The stunning outer packaging of the three whiskeys proudly brings these joints of history to life in spectacular fashion. They share their stories through innovative and disruptive design techniques. These are the perfect counterpoint to these whiskeys that have quietly matured and evolved in Speyside, Scotland, over the decades.

50 years

The Glenfiddich 50-Year-Old liquid draws whiskeys from three American oak filler casks, matured in the same cellar before being paired and finished in an American oak filler cask for two years. There are only 220 decanters for this precious liquid in this edition, making it a rare and sought-after collector’s item.

Manuel Jiménez García, a computer architect, deciphered the meteorological data into an algorithm and generated a physical design language to custom-build the structure shape. It shows life every second of every day of every month of those fifty years.

Mexico is proud to have the only bottle meant for Latin America, engraved with the number 21, under a liquid concept called Simultaneous Time. An expression for the passage of fifty years. The bottle arrives in Mexico with a retail price of 2,077,000.00 Mexican pesos, accompanied by an exclusive visit to the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland.

40 years

The Glenfiddich 40-Year-Old is a bold and maverick representation of the residual vatting process. A pioneering technique in which the remains of the previous batch are retained each cycle and combined with selected casks for each subsequent release. Glenfiddich is the only distillery to use the remnant vetting process. This buildup of flavors adds complexity to the taste.

Like 40-Year-Old is compounded by layers of transforming flavors, the design of the outer carton brings to life a bold, maverick vision of a geological metamorphosis. The decanter stands in an impressive sculptural container. And with a stopper made of jesmonite, a material with individual characteristics that make each piece unique. With spectacularly carved grooves, this innovative stone material reveals the intertwined veins that run through it. Each one is random and different from the others; The result is a spectacular vessel that embodies the evolution of one thing into another.

30 years

The Glenfiddich 30-Year-Old represents the moment when Brian Kinsman – Glenfiddich’s Malt Master – suspends the whiskey’s maturation for bottling to capture the whiskey at just the right moment. A perfect expression preserved for all eternity.

The design of the outer carton evokes this moment through moving ribbons to form graceful cut-out windows, revealing the regal decanter within. With the moment of maturation captured in all its splendor, the dynamic lines and complex structure create the illusion that the bottle is floating in mid-air.

The Time Reimagined collection will be available through select partners globally and in exclusive luxury travel stores.
