The value of time, Louis XIII Experience

Reading Time: 2.3 min.

Since ancient times, humans have asked themselves how much time is worth, what value would you give to twenty-five years, what about a hundred. The answer has always been the same time is invaluable. It is the only thing we all have for sure and the only thing we will always need. However, although time is not for sale, there are ways to understand its value, such as tasting a twenty-five-year-old caviar or toasting a cognac that took more than a century to reach its fullness to surprise the palate and celebrate a moment that will not return.

Statement media was invited to a secret corner of the exclusive Four Seasons hotel to experience a celebration of delight to the senses through the select Louis XIII Experience, in charge of Malossol caviar, Telmont champagne, and the star of the meeting, Louis XIII cognac.

The experience was a celebration of time and the value we give to it, starting with a reflection on the use of our time on the planet and how we live on it. For this purpose, Telmont champagne invited us to toast with its bubbles and share its values as the first eco-friendly champagne with the signature luxury that characterizes this drink. Telmont encourages its consumers to live luxury more consciously, without unnecessary boxes and production, packaging, presentation, and transportation processes that are more environmentally friendly than any other premium champagne. Thus inviting those present to value our time and correspondence with the planet.

Later, we guests pondered about the importance of valuing and honoring our time upon learning the reason why caviar is considered the epitome of gourmet luxury, upon discovering that each beluga sturgeon requires at least twenty-five years to reach the relevant maturity to offer the flavor and brightness that distinguishes the best caviar in the world. Therefore, every detail is fundamental, such as avoiding contact with the caviar with steel at all costs and presenting it on the caviar server. That is more than a matter of aesthetics; it is a functional practice to preserve the flavor and purity of this delicatessen. For this occasion, Malossol presented its caviar in beautiful sets of pure silver and glass, accompanied by mother pearl spoons.

At last, the crowning moment came when the legendary Baccarat crystal decanters made their star appearance. Created exclusively for Louis XIII, each decanter is as unique as the elixir it preserves. Even if you tried to use the stopper from another Louis XIII decanter, it wouldn’t fit perfectly. Of course, this unique drink would not come in any glass. For the Louis XIII experience, Baccarat created a set of exclusive crystal cups meant to pamper every sense. The view gets treated with a charming presentation, the smell and taste seduce with the unparalleled cognac, a delightful crystal touch, and even our hearing feels joy with the unforgettable chin sound of their toast.
