Last Thursday, April 27, and Friday, April 28, the first edition of Art Nights Experiences by Xitle Art Week took place. A meeting of sensory experiences to share activities and experiences to live the world of art.
Each evening, different sensory experiences happened under the concepts: CREATE · FEEL · FLY.
Among various activities, the evening presents a workshop of artisan papers with De Ponte papers where attendees create their masterpieces. In addition, the artist and curator director Poi Guevara made a performance in which he gave life to a large-format work of art in just under ninety minutes to complete the FEEL · LOOK · ENJOY the experience.
On Friday, the 28th, aside from exhibiting more works by different artists and living a new artistic experience by De Ponte, attendees enjoyed the LOOK · FEEL · LISTEN experience, a ninety-minute violin concert by Sara Maiki.
During the concert, there was a happening in which all attendees got invited to capture that idyllic moment and let themselves go by creating their work on a piece of cocoa paper from Papeles De Ponte. Meanwhile, another unique live performance invited all the artists to present to create a large-format work of art. Based on the foundation that the two curating directors made on the canvas. More than ten artists created a collective work of art in perfect synchrony and synergy.
To crown the evening, the general director Abdula Carapezza and the curator director, and in charge of curating these experiences, Sara Lorenzo, gave a few words to thank the artists, sponsors, partners, and attendees. In the end, the general director of the platform, with the help of one of the art dealers, Xitle Art Week, held a raffle for a bottle of Prieto y Prieta whiskey with special edition leather bags of the brand, two Varlion paddle bags, and the two works of art created during the happenings on Thursday and Friday.
The star of the evening of the first edition of Art Nights Experiences was the exhibition of the works of the artists Abril Durán, Adán Martínez, the teacher Aliria Morales, Andy Warhol, Dannah Garay, Flor Minor, Giovanni Troconi, Irina Cobos, Jorge Katthain, Josue Toriz Garcia, Leonardo Morales, Poi Guevara, Leonora Carrington, Lorena Campbell, Luthien, Luis Rafael, Març Rabal (Spain), Marco Gonzalez Mother Monkey and Pedro Friedeberg. For the visual arts, the art short film “Semilla” by Galicia Outdoors was screened at all times in the internal lounge of the venue on both days as part of the LOOK · FEEL · LISTEN experience.
The cocktail bar was in charge of Prieto y Prieta whiskey and Mezcal El=Mental, to give life to the delicious TASTE AND SMELL experience.
Among the VIP Xitle guests at the Statement Lounge, sponsored by Sobre la mesa, notable personalities such as Rodrigo Rivero Lake, Rita Sánchez, Martha Ortiz Sotres, Bianca Rentería, Steph Rojas, David Yza, Marcos Iván Andrade, Patricio Cabezut, Sonya Najera, Jimena Russ, Karime Martini, Txomin Alcorta, Susana Russ, Sheila Melina Ordaz, Perla Denisse, Avril Parrillat, Alan González, Aida Petit Jean, Dannah Garay, Jessica Feldman, and Hessy Milstein, among others.
All the guests enjoyed the LOOK AND FEEL experience by Sobre La Mesa, who was in charge of all the furniture for Art Nights Experiences, from the tables to the complete furniture in the VIP area.
