Mobility and inclusion have been two issues that have set the guidelines that have dominated all scenes since the pandemic. Under these circumstances, the everyday becomes extraordinary and conquers all markets with ingenious pieces that adapt to everyday life. A fabulous example is the Genderless capsule collection created by Longchamp in collaboration with jewelry and accessories designer Stéphanie D’heygere.
Each piece -two bags, an umbrella, a poncho, a rain hat, and a pair of trousers- shares the same ingenious idea of adding an extra function to the original. Thus, the trousers can be rolled up and unrolled, the fanny pack can transform into a backpack, the umbrella hangs from the body, and the rain cap folds and unfolds with the grace of origami.
Logically, the Longchamp & D’heygere collaboration combines a sense of humor with intelligence and efficiency, just as the Belgian designer does in her pieces, jewelry, and accessories. In this collection, movement is essential by the capsule’s clever, transformable and wearable designs in recycled polyester and nylon.
The color palette focuses on the classics: black, navy blue, white, and fuchsia pink. – that evoke the elegance of Longchamp and, by the hand of Stéphanie D’heygere, acquire a very Parisian brand. Aside from these timeless unisex hues, a leopard print injects a bold spirit that works well for everyone.
