One of the fundamental pillars of the non-profit organization of fashion professionals, Fashion Group International, is to promote the industry. For its representation in Mexico, Fashion Group International Mexico brings together all the star players in the fashion industry nationally to link them with the international fashion industry, through their presence in the US, Canada, and Colombia, through large meetings and participation in renowned forums such as Intermoda and with bonding meetings such as the last Meet the Members at the BRUNA restaurant in Guadalajara.
Zaira Marino, the Director of Fashion Group International Mexico City, and Jaime Ibiza were the hosts for the evening.
The night was full of surprises, like an experience with BRUNA’s chef Oscar Garza. The Director of Fashion Group International Mexico City, Zaira Marino, welcomed and thanked the guests for their relevant participation and support. And she highlighted Lydia Lavin as an advisor to FGI Mexico and an important mentor for some selected designers from the group on the platform.
Zaira Marino: We are delighted with the growth of our community in this city and the success of the event.
The presence of FGI Mexico City at Intermoda has caused a sensation and has been a fundamental support for the fashion industry. Among the guests were Benito Santos, Tanya Moss, Paola Hinojos, Diva Lomas, Shula Atri, Montserrat Messeguer, Lydia Lavín, Anuar Layon, Vero Díaz, Emilio Penhos, Natalia Hoil, Jannette Klein, Javier Reyes, Jorge Castellanos, Claudia de la Mora, Sundar, Ricardo Encinas among others.
