Regina Dondé, the designer and textile expert, will present her collection “Flor Migrante” in collaboration with the plastic artist Betsabé Romero and CUADRA in the next edition of Paris Fashion Week and to celebrate, she called for an exclusive presentation in Puntarena restaurant in Mexico City.
Flor Migrante is a collection inspired by a beautiful flower that has migrated for centuries thanks to the talent of artisan women whose hands make astonishing embroideries inspired by it, adapting and transforming its vivid colors and exceptional beauty no matter where in the world they live.
The “Migrant Flowers” will be adorned by the beauty and conception of the art of a great: Betsabée Romero, an internationally recognized plastic artist who has collaborated in conceptualizing the collection of spectacular plumes that will leave the public speechless at the parade in Paris.
This collection celebrates the audacity of First Nations Mexican women and women from other parts of the world to combine colors and textures in their clothing. That has been an invaluable source of inspiration for Regina since her beginnings as a designer. The audacity when mixing elements, that magical fusion of geometric figures, birds, strokes, and flowers in the same garment, using ancestral printing techniques, has become the soul of his creative process.
To adorn the outfit creations, CUADRA, experts in artisanal footwear, have maintained a genuine interest in maintaining the most traditional values in footwear creation and production.
The presentation in Mexico was in an exclusive cocktail offered by Federico Rigoletti and Grupo Tintorera in collaboration with Pernod Ricard, who delighted the guests with unique and colorful mixology creations in perfect harmony with the concept of Flor Migrante, made with Tequila Avión and Monkey Gin.
