Xitle Art Week is a platform and art fair that endorses, promotes, and drives national and international artists through exhibitions, events, auctions, and direct sales of their works.
One of the purposes of XAW (for its acronym) is to create and generate exceptional experiences for art followers and collectors to relate to the artists and their processes in a personal and direct way, be it in their public or private events, auctions, and recreational side events.
Xitle Art Week unites and creates synergies with galleries, publishers, collectors, brands, and art-related projects in all its expressions and areas. A token of this is its partners that include: ŌRBITA, Art Contemporáneo, Rodrigo Rivero Lake, Casa Lulú, Papeles De Ponte, the Dominion Corporate Housing hotel chain with its Dominion Polanco, Casa Mali Condesa, and Dominion Santa Fe hotels, Mahat Ayurveda & Yoga, Gong Cha, Bloody Pie, La Aldea Avándaro and Statement, to name a few.
The platform committee includes curators, art historians, publishers, collectors, art dealers, and people involved with art. They seek both an aesthetic line and authentic support for artists. Among the twelve current members stand personalities like Mrs. Betty Gálvez, an international cultural promoter. Carlos Cárdenas, cultural advocate and businessman. Alejandra Quintero, businesswoman and yoga teacher. Rodrigo Rivero Lake, antique dealer, historian, author, collector, and businessman. Alexandra Hernández, cultural promoter, and businesswoman. Bernardo Gamboa, cultural advocate and businessman. Celia Marín, editor and businesswoman. Claudia Mondragón, cultural promoter, and businesswoman. Vianey Chauvet, cultural advocate and businesswoman, and Dannah Garay, artist and singer.
