Perfumes reveal our personality, help form memories, and are part of the most cherished celebrations. Wow, the art of perfumery deserves to be homaged as it is during the second edition of L’Atelier du Parfum de Ultrafemme. L’Atelier du Parfum is a seasonal museum to honor 47 years of passion for fragrances, presented by Mrs. Elena Villarreal, founder of Ultrafemme, and José García Villarreal, CEO of Grupo Ultra.
Ultrafemme celebrates high-end perfumery as an art form like no other. Starting on December 1st and for 47 days until January 16th, 2023, the beauty house celebrates its essence, turning each Ultrafemme aisle, on Luxury Avenue, into interactive spaces that immerse its clients in the exciting profession of perfumery.
For 47 years, the most prestigious brands in the world of perfumery have been betting on projects led by Elena Villarreal. In this edition of L’Atelier du Parfum, they join the innovative project of these perfume houses: Chanel, Dior, Sisley, Carolina Herrera, Creed, Amouage, Bvlgari, Tom Ford, Loewe, Acqua di Parma, Givenchy, Versace, Narciso Rodriguez, Montblanc, Jimmy Choo, Issey Miyake, Shiseido and Ultrafemme’s brand —Seajewels, the perfume from Cancun—.
Meant to discover the art of perfumery, six Olfactory Tables were created, in which note Ultrafemme presents us with the universe of the six aromatic families to which all perfumes belong. This year the proposal is a blind sensory experience, where the customer can choose their favorite fragrance without the effect of packaging or the brand. A playful experience in which the proposal is to discover the aroma that most identifies us, guided only by the fragrance, in a sublime way to connect with perfumes.
This year, to surprise the guests during Ultrafemme’s anniversary, incorporated into Luxury Avenue Cancun two luxurious Tasting Rooms. one from Ultrafemme and one from Chanel. These private spaces (by appointment only) intend to exalt the senses with an innovative combination of tastings and master classes by expert perfumers that will immerse us in depth in the fascinating art of the creation of a perfume.
The guests of honor that Ultrafemme called this year for their experiences include Renaud Salmon, Amouage’s global Chief Experience Officer (CXO) —one of the most sought-after niche fragrance brands globally. Luis Cavallo, international ambassador for Creed, an authentic luxury perfume house of artisan fragrances for men and women. Sandra Fernández, a Mexican talent named by the Association of Mexican Sommeliers, was appointed Sommelier of the Year by CANIRAC. Master Tequila maker and great connoisseur of the world of alcohol and the senses, who implemented perfume master classes guiding guests to discover the sensory romance of taste and smell. Xavier Blaizot is a young French nose, 7th generation perfumer from Grasse, France, the cradle of perfumes since the 16th century
Today he is the heir to a large firm that collaborates with large luxury brands to create fragrances for the world. Sandra Fernandez and Xavier Blaizot. The duo of Sandra and Xavier helped to understand the secrets behind the aromas of niche perfumes. Through a sensory journey between the world of fragrances and high-end drinks, they learned to interpret and enjoy the bouquets and the savoir-faire of these exquisite elixirs to connect with the emotions, evocations, and fondest feelings of the consumers. It was a unique and unforgettable experience.
With L’Atelier du Parfum, Ultrafemme celebrates its 47th anniversary in style and will offer these experiences until January 16th, 2023, in its Luxury Avenue boutiques in Cancun and Los Cabos: two perfect spots to experience the art of evoking and moving through fragrances.
