It was 1982, E.T. was released, the Falklands War raged, the first heart transplant was a success, and from a small carpentry workshop founded by Ni Liangzheng in Pujiang, China, an extraordinary story of innovation and sustainability began to unfold: the birth of Sunon. Forty-three years later, Sunon opens a plant in Mexico as it unveils its iconic H5 chair.

Sunon, a global brand of intelligent workspace solutions, opened its new manufacturing plant in Nuevo León, Mexico, and unveiled its latest creation: the H5 ergonomic chair, designed in collaboration with the renowned German studio B4K.

Sunon has grown with a philosophy centered on human well-being, craftsmanship, and design intelligence. The new H5 chair is the prime of ergonomics, elegance, and environmental responsibility. Designed by Andreas Krob, founder of B4K, it responds to the new demands of hybrid work, integrating recyclable materials and energy-efficient production processes. Its sober, adaptable, and modern aesthetic makes this piece an emblem of conscious furniture.

The Nuevo León plant is part of Sunon’s broader strategy; it intends to become the most trusted partner for companies looking to transform their offices into intelligent, collaborative, and sustainable environments.
