The most internationally renowned Mexican designer will fuse jewelry, artisanal textiles, and cultural tourism in Madrid, promoting Mexico as a destination of fashion and tradition.

The acclaimed jeweler and entrepreneur Daniel Espinosa will represent Mexico at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2026, to be held on January 22 in Madrid, at the invitation of the Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora. His participation is part of the «Mexico is in Fashion» strategy, through which the country, as Guest Country, will showcase its cultural, creative, and tourist richness to a global audience.

Espinosa will present a completely new fashion show, inspired by great Mexican divas such as Dolores del Río, Frida Kahlo, and María Félix, integrating artisanal textiles from all corners of the country with his iconic jewelry collections: Roses, Coins, Chains and Twists, Geometry (spheres and cubes), and Precious Mexican Gems. The project brings together artisans from Guerrero, Tamaulipas, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Coahuila, Tlaxcala, Puebla, Yucatán, and Veracruz, creating a contemporary proposal that honors tradition.

In addition, the designer will promote the exclusive tour and visit to Casa de Plata in Taxco to tourism industry leaders. This VIP experience reveals the mining and artisanal legacy of Mexican silversmithing. Taxco, an international benchmark for silver, is thus consolidating its position as a key cultural destination, where Espinosa’s family heritage preserves techniques passed down through generations.

Daniel Espinosa’s presence at FITUR 2026 reinforces his role as an ambassador for Mexican jewelry and fashion, showcasing Mexico’s talent, identity, and cultural value to the world, and strengthening the link between design, craftsmanship, and high-impact tourism.
