In Taxco’s historic center, renowned for its silversmith heritage, Hotel William is born, a boutique hotel that redefines hospitality with a deeply artistic and cultural approach. Inspired by the legacy of William Spratling—the American visionary who revolutionized Mexican silversmithing—this space pays homage to Mexico’s aesthetic richness through a proposal that fuses tradition and modernity.

With only 15 rooms, the hotel offers an intimate and sophisticated experience. Its neo-pre-Hispanic design was conceived by young Mexican designers who transformed a historic mansion into a jewel of hospitality. Vernacular materials, such as artisanal pasta tiles, palm-woven fabrics, and carved woods, are integrated into a visual narrative where every detail speaks of roots and heritage.

The green palette—a symbol of life and connection with nature—is complemented by exclusive furnishings that reinterpret ancestral symbols, creating an environment that is both contemporary and proudly Mexican.

Hotel William also offers a first-class culinary experience at El Americano, its contemporary Mexican restaurant with locally sourced ingredients. To end the day, the panoramic terrace is home to Bar Jucu, an elegant spot with signature mixology, perfect for enjoying the sunset over Taxco.

With personalized concierge service, the hotel invites you to explore the region’s charms, from the Monumental Christ viewpoint and the Cacahuamilpa grottoes to the Blue Pools of Atzala and cultural tours of the city’s mining and religious heritage.
