For 30 years, the Lazos Foundation has changed the lives of thousands of children through education and the empowerment that comes with building self-esteem.

The Lazos Foundation is a Mexican organization that promotes quality, values-based education by supporting public elementary and junior high school education in vulnerable contexts, seeking to reduce inequality in Mexico; a huge endeavor that the Lazos Foundation has carried out with proud stubbornness and unwavering commitment to Mexico’s future.

In its schools, Lazos implements the Lazos educational model as a community-based social improvement project. Through this model, they support school communities and engage key social stakeholders, including students, administrators, teachers, and parents.

For just 355 pesos a month, the Lazos Foundation allows you to be a part of it and do your part to help close the vast educational gap that currently exists between Mexico and the major powers. On its website, the Lazos Foundation, it’s easy to find out how you can contribute and see the transparency of its actions and results.

To recognize the 30 years of this great work, the Lazos Foundation convened a moving forum in Polanco, where Oso Trava moved the audience with a powerful and transformative talk in tune with the day’s mission, followed by a provocative yet moving speech by Lazos’ founder, Mr. Chobi Landeros. Proudly and stubbornly, he keeps striving for a better and more humane Mexico from different perspectives.
