Marquis Rosa: Wellness, Awareness, and Community in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Reading Time: 2 min.

October turns pink in the heart of Mexico City. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Hotel Marquis Reforma presents Marquis Rosa, an experience that goes beyond prevention: it is an invitation to view breast cancer from a holistic, humane, and transformative perspective.

The event brings together a powerful panel of doctors, activists, wellness specialists, and women who have faced breast cancer from different perspectives. Voices such as those of Andrea Torre, Paola Shape, and Dr. Franco Krakaur join this vital conversation, led by communicator Cecilia Valdés.

Among the key moments of the event is the collaboration with FUCAM, a leading institution in Mexico, which will offer 50 free mammograms. Additionally, the Cimas de la Esperanza Foundation reaffirms that there is life after cancer, inviting 15 survivors to participate in its iconic annual race, in partnership with Campo Vivo. More than an event, a transformative experience: Pink Ritual at Spa Marquis. Throughout October, a treatment with natural ingredients in shades of pink donates 10% of each service to FUCAM. Wellness with a cause.

More than an event, a transformative experience

  • Pink Ritual at Spa Marquis. Throughout October, a treatment with natural ingredients in shades of pink donates 10% of each service to FUCAM. Wellness with a cause.
  • Pink Gastronomy: At Canarios and Heritage restaurants, traditional Mexican conchas are dressed in pink to support the cause. All proceeds go to FUCAM.
  • Conscious Beauty: Brands like Ere Perez and Campo Vivo are collaborating with natural and organic products that promote a healthier lifestyle.
  • Fashion with Purpose: Designer Eduardo Blass created commemorative ribbons as symbols of hope, unity, and style with intention.

Marquis Rosa is a reminder that healthcare begins with information, is strengthened by community, and transforms into hope when accompanied by beauty, awareness, and action.

Because the art of living also includes learning to take care of each other.
