That’s why Vail has designed unique après experiences on and off the mountain throughout the 60th anniversary season, enjoying 60-year-old Ice Bars, snow bungalows, and many flagship events.

A limited quantity of special Vail Après Passports will be available throughout the season at special Passport Drops for guests to discover signature Signature Après offers. Enjoy special events and giveaways for guests. Passport holders will get to explore all that Vail après has to offer.
Ice Bars + Snow Bungalows
The origin of the first Ice Bar in history is shrouded in legend. But when a pioneering Vail businessman piled snow to kick off this once-in-a-lifetime experience, après was never the same again. Sixty years later, Ice Bars are back! Located at Eagle’s Nest and Wildwood, guests can enjoy an exciting and elevated Ice Bar experience featuring music, food, and signature cocktails in this classic Vail setting.

Reserve one of Vail Mountain’s four snow bungalows housed in Igloo Village at Eagle’s Nest Ice Bar. Offering a private experience right in the middle of the action, the Snow Bungalows are your retreat on Vail Mountain.
For this anniversary, Vail Mountain has partnered with a local distillery, 10th Mountain Whiskey, to create two commemorative drinks, a 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Bourbon and Henry’s Legacy Bourbon, that will donate a portion of its proceeds to the rescue dog team. You can taste them in select establishments, in signature cocktails that pay homage to The History of Vail.

Vail Mountain’s 60th anniversary abounds with NEW personalized experiences for guests arriving to celebrate this momentous ski and snowboard season at the resort. A collaboration was made with photographic artist Gary Malin, reproducing vintage photos from 60 years ago through his lens, brought back to today that you’ll find at iconic stops on the mountain and in town.
